Highlights from Temple Sinai Palm Desert Screening, August 4th 2022
Well over 200 attendees from the Coachella Valley and Los Angeles attended the Desert Premiere at Temple Sinai of Palm Desert of “The Jewish Jail Lady and the Holy Thief,” an original documentary film by Barry Rosenthal, featuring Beit T’Shuvah founder Harriet Rossetto and her husband Rabbi Mark Borovitz, Rabbi Emeritus of Beit T’Shuvah.
Temple Sinai’s Rabbi David Novak warmly welcomed the capacity filled sanctuary and later interviewed Rabbi Mark, Harriet and Barry, after the screening, which also included questions from the attendees.
The audience enthusiastically enjoyed the screening, welcoming Rabbi Mark and Harriet as full time residents of Palm Desert.
